Safe - Structured - Supervised Strength Training for Young Athletes

The Middle School Strength Program at Champions Sports Performance is designed for middle school athletes who are ready to begin intentional strength training in a controlled, coach-led environment.

This program meets the growing demand for strength training at this age — while prioritizing technique, safety, and long-term development over lifting heavy.

Who Middle School Strength Is For

Ages 11–14 | Athletes Ready for Structured Strength Training

Middle School Strength is ideal for athletes who:

​

  • Are entering or currently in middle school

  • Want to build strength safely and confidently

  • Are starting to outgrow speed-only training

  • Need more consistency than seasonal team lifting

​

No prior strength training experience is required.

Middle school is a critical window to learn how to strength train correctly.

This program focuses on:

​

  • Proper movement patterns before adding load

  • Controlled progression over time

  • Building confidence under supervision

  • Reducing injury risk as athletes grow

​

Athletes learn how to train — not just lift.

Program Structure

Consistent Strength + Unlimited Speed Training

Middle School Strength includes:

​

  • 2 days per week of dedicated strength training

    • Choose Monday / Wednesday or Tuesday / Thursday

  • Unlimited Total Performance speed classes are included

    • Monday–Friday at 5:30 PM

    • Saturday at 10:00 AM

​

This structure provides the right balance of strength, speed, and recovery.

Expert Coaching & Oversight

Led by Experienced Strength Professionals

Middle School Strength is overseen by an expert strength coach with advanced education in exercise science and youth development.

Every session includes:

​

  • Direct coaching and supervision

  • Technique correction and feedback

  • Age-appropriate progression

  • Small group sizes for safety and quality

​

Parents can feel confident their athlete is training the right way.

Our Performance Evaluation helps determine readiness for Middle School Strength and ensures proper placement.
