JUMP START
AGES 7-11
Building Speed, Strength, and Confidence — The Right Way

The Jump Start Program at Champions Sports Performance is designed for young athletes who are ready to begin structured training in a safe, positive, coach-led environment.
Rather than rushing into advanced workouts, Jump Start focuses on teaching athletes how to move well first, building the foundation for long-term athletic development and confidence.
Who Jump Start Is For

Jump Start is ideal for athletes who:

-
Are new to structured training

Want to improve speed, coordination, and confidence
-
Need proper instruction on movement fundamentals
-
Play one or multiple sports

No prior training experience is required. Athletes are coached at their level and progress as they grow.

Why Jump Start Works
Foundations First - Progression Always
At this age, training should be intentional — not rushed.

Jump Start focuses on:

-
Proper running, jumping, and landing mechanics
-
Coordination, balance, and body control
-
Introductory strength using bodyweight and light resistance
-
Clear structure and repetition
-
Confidence through successful movement

This approach improves performance now while reducing injury risk as athletes grow.
Jump Start 1
Ages 7–8 + Less Experienced 9-Year-Olds

-
Improve coordination and balance
-
Build confidence in a supportive environment
-
Be introduced to structured training routines
-
Develop foundational strength safely

This level prioritizes learning, confidence, and fun while building strong fundamentals.
Jump Start 2
Ages 10–11 + More Experienced 9-Year-Olds
Jump Start 2 is for athletes who are ready for a faster pace and more challenge while still emphasizing proper technique.

Athletes will:

-
Improve speed, acceleration, and change of direction
-
Refine sprinting and movement mechanics
-
Progress introductory strength exercises
-
Build consistency and accountability
-
Prepare for the transition into Total Performance

This level bridges the gap between foundational training and more advanced athletic development.
